今年4月に、鳥取県大山町で「ティラノサウルスレース大山 2023」が開催されました。
Over 200 “tyrannosaurs” from all over Japan competed to see how fast they could run.
全国から集まった200以上の「ティラノサウルス」が、走る速さを競いました。
When asked why people come to the event, KAWAMOTO Naoki from the Japan Tyrannosaurus Preservation Society answered:
どうして人が集まるのかという質問に対して、日本ティラノサウルス保存会の川本直樹さんはこう答えました。
“I think a lot of people want to be Tyrannosaurus. Also, people might be tired. They might be thinking that they can’t take humans anymore.”
「ティラノサウルスになりたい人が多いんじゃないでしょうか。それと、みんな疲れてるのかな。人間なんかやってられるかと思っているのかもしれませんね」。
The event was originally born in the United States. Since 2022, it has been held in various locations in Japan.
